These mountain streams are so wonderful. Not only the sound..but all the mosses on the rocks..they look like green velvet..makes one want to walk barefooted on them, but might be just a little slickery! ha! This was in Mt.Hood National Forest in Or. Had to post it, its so soothing to look at. Hope you all enjoy it!

I spent a year in Vancouver Washington, and on weekends would go with a group of girlfriends hiking. We hiked all over Oregon and Washington, and yeah, on every hike, I saw something gorgeous like this. The whole area is this amazing natural wonder. I certainly miss that area, where the air was fresh. Thanks for sharing this. Beautiful image!!!! Just Gorgeous!!!

Verena, you said just about everything in your description I wanted to say as a compliment here !!! As it is, it's a beautiful shot, so other worldly, I almost expect to see 7 dwarves on their way home, & singing to boot !! Love those shades of green & the softness of the image as a whole. Just gorgeous. Truly well done... : )

Another great picture. Not a bad choice going with a normal shutter speed.

I so need to get to Oregon and the Pacific coast (except California- wait... nah not California.. well maybe Yosemite...umm dunno ;P ). I feel the need to visit Olympic, Rainier, and Cascades to say the least. Eventually I plan to move to either Oregon, Washington or Alaska when I've finally graduated and finished with hot and muggy Florida! Anyhow I love your shots of this region and I wish that a couple of years ago, we would have kept on driving in the motor home and not let Utah be our furthest western destination! Great work! Please share more with us :)
