Finding a surprise rose like this is like discovering a real treasure by accident! I had searched for a lavender rose for so long..and one day as I was taking a drive..there they were! hidden in shadows...yet sooo very visible! A purple rose..what a sweet treasure! And the scent of these roses..oh my! I wanted to bottle that for sure!!

My favorite rose bush here at home. I am only graced with three blossoms a year and they bloom and show almost exactly like this. You are right, though all roses smell wonderful, the lavender ones are superior and heavenly. I also appreciate your triplet capture.

I have lavender roses in my back yard and yes, they are my favorite. They are so beautiful when in bloom- this is a wonderful photo but to actually see one in bloom - there is no comparison- but you captured it quite nicely- I can almost smell them!
