Today at the beach it was the most awesome sight! This HUGE mass of low lying clouds covered a large area of the beach and water. I was driving on the hiway at the top of Neakhanie Mountain..and many people had pulled over, so I did too..and I saw this fantastic site! Its the first time in 25 yrs of beach going that I've seen this take place. When you were down below on the beach, the ocean couldn't be seen at all...only the beach. In time it all dissipated..and things were back to "normal" ..but it wasquite a sight.! I'm SO glad I didn't miss!! Hope you enjoy it as well!

A winner in my book Verena. How unique an opportunity for you and a sight I've not seen. Beautiful long range capture of color and clarity.

Hi Verena.

In Scotland they call this "The Har", basically sea mist, as the sea cools faster than the land it, the land draws moisture inland due to convection like a vacuum hence the mist. I have seen it bold before but not anywhere near as clear as this. It's a lovely shot and I really like the way it seems to be stuck there.
