In the Cascade Mountain Range here in Oregon there are many streams and waterfalls. The mosses are so beautiful, along with the ferns and old tree growths. But scenes like this always pull me in, because the scents and fresh air there just fill a persons lungs...it feel there is never enough..and I always hate to leave there. This photo was taken near Mt Hood, the tallest mountain in Oregon. Please leave some comments. And thank you so much for coming by to see this image..

Not only you Verena even a blind person will feel the beauty of this place. What I like is the similar colors which covers the whole image. And I think you have composed the shot nicely to give a deeper idea of the background. Nice work!

Very nice composition and great technical control bring out all the mossy textures, root structure rocks, and water flow. I keep trying to smell the fresh mountain air when I look at this.

Hey 'V'... beautiful!...believe it or not but I captured one like this yesterday....But no-where as good as this.....I can just imagine sitting beside this with a cool glass of wine just listening to the water 'tinkling' over the rocks!.....High marks from me.........Thanx
