While driving near the clover field recently I found this little barn, the house was old and partially burned down, but the little barn was ok. It looked so pretty in that crimson clover field, and the scent was just fantastic! I stayed a while and just breathed it all in. It was one of those perfectly gentle and quiet Springtime days.....I hope you enjoy this photo and have a day like that also....thanx so much for stopping in here.

This is beautiful Verena, I really love it! I can see the sun coming in from behind where you took the photo and shining on top of the barns roof. The sky is really great, with each cloud evenly placed. It does seem like a perfect Spring day! Into my faves!

Hi Verena -- wonderful photo of a beautiful spring day. Glad you posted this. I like the clover field colors with a nice blue sky above.. The big old barn adds a complimentary touch to the field of clover. The only bad thing is ...I wouldn't want to be in the barn in a hail storm ... lol .. supurb job....

I can practically smell them from here Verena!! Very nice setting & the barn just looks like it was made for that field of clover! Love this one!! Great job! ~Dan

Often I have thought that I would not mind at all living in an old barn. But then I didnt read doubleheaders comment about hail storms. Changed my mind. Beautiful place though to have a picnic and you captured it well. I could take a nap here too and feel the wind against the flowers swaying them and rocking me to sleep. I really like this one. Verena you have a winner here!

Oh yeah, I can just smell that clover. And, I do like the barn. I think what really sets this composition afire is once again, that beautiful Oregon sky. You have the most dramatic skies out there of any place I have seen. This is a keeper and on the dektop it goes.
Thks, Verena.

A very lovely shot! Only qualm I have with the shot is the branches and leaves in the upper left hand corner. I would have liked to see this shot without them as it is such a dynamic image with the barn, flowers in the field, sloping trees, and amazing sky. Regardless of my oppinion though, it is a fantastic shot. Great capture!

Nice shot. That field of flowers really makes this pic, not to mention the clouds. Good work.

Beautiful Spring image, a version without the branches might look better or worse, but i wouldnt mind seeing one. The colours are great, and the clouds are very dramatic. The only thing i found off was the dark patches around clouds in the sky... How does that happen?! There are very obvious light and dark patches in the sky. Anyway keep these beautiful Spring images coming.

I think this is one of the best shots that u have posted. Lovely contrast and brightness control here. The colors are well matched. U can improve this image using some sharpening and noice correction.

And once again... I am jealous! Sping! Sounds so great...as this picture looks. It is a great composition. The different colours and the peacefull look with the old barn, against the blue sky. Love the piece of the tree showing in the left top corner, just imagine what nice playtime the kids had underneath that tree. I can almost hear the laughter and giggles of happy kiddie voices! I always find it so amazing that a picture can bring back so much memories. So true what they say... A picture tells a thousand words.... Lovely job, Verena!

Wow...At first I thought you may have combined the Barn with the field, it looks almost unreal, it's more impressive that it wasn't a manipulation. A very emotive piece for me Verena...I'm gonna go see if you have any more of these ole' barn pics, you do them as good as anyone I've seen. dAVE

This is absolutely lovely! It's in my favourites right now! The only complaint I have is that it feels slightly crooked.. maybe rotate it a degree or so to the left?

I do not think it is crooked. The slope of the field may be giving that impression. I just love the composition of this one and I would say it works perfectly.

Hey Verena,
I did know you were there! You should have come into the barn, I was just working out inside that barn! (ha, ha..)
Anyway, that picture is about as good as it gets.
Look at that sky, the field and the setting, it all makes up for a perfect photo!
It's a winner!
