I decided to post this sunset shot and then one more in my beach//sunset series, even tho I know many feel they will be grainy. It was a most fantastic sunset and I really just wanted to share the whole thing with all of you. I did change ISO setting on my camera today and I will go out tomorrow and see how the photos will be, and I hope you will all be able to help me know whether the graininess is less or not. But until then I hope you do enjoy this loveliness at the Oregon Coast...thanx for stopping in.

A good shot..no need to alte anything..causes one to desirea stroll thre....still suggesting a 400 or 800 ISO and a trpod would be ideal-if you have a steady hand, not necessary although the darker it gets, the more will need of it......good work!

I know why this came out grainy, its because you got to close to those weeds or plants. I'm surprised you didnt have a blurry problem as well. I like your idea with those plants but try backing off ohhh say about 10 to 20 feet. I dont think messing with your ISO is going to help. Perhaps trying to mess with the exposer might. If its windy or breezy I would just stay away from those plants altogether. This image is still desktop worthy and I added it to my favorites.......Thank you

A good photo again. The only comment is in the Sunrise Stroll, I can imagine me being on the beach and watching that fabulous sunset. After seeing that one, I want a wide view. this one is fine though, no complaint.

This is just a *little* grainy... but you know what? I DON"T CARE! It is such lovely composition and colors that sometimes the technical aspects of it don't matter. In fact! I think it looks better grainy... gives it a artistic feeling... don't stop posting these!

I think I agree with Catherine, the slight graininess gives it a sort of canvas textured look. I love the colors here and it makes me feel like I'm there. Nice shot!
