Today I went to the Pacific Ocean to an area I had not been to in a couple of years..(the town is Oceanside, Or) and the water was the most fantastic colour, along with there being a huge cloud bank just over the horizon! It was fantastic! Then at the edge of the water, on the beach, there was a gorgeous chartreuse green seaweed floating around. So I had to take a "few" shots..lol All those huge rocks and the driftwood, well, how could there a much better scene than this ??! (I will post another Bannack photo tomorrow, along with more ocean shots..lol) I just had to have a change of pace. Enjoy the view!

The weather and lighting are excellent here, and you took it from a good POV. It's a shame how the car disturbs the scene - I guess you didn't notice when you took the shot at the time.

This photo has wonderful textures and a sense of movement about it. Very nicely composed. A bit high on the contrast but I suspect that's an affect of the scan? anne :-)

Hi Verena, yes, you are right, one couldn't resist this shot, as it has everything you mentioned! I can just feel the wonderful crisp moist air rolling in with the clouds, and it feels wonderful! The beautiful blend of colors are very pleasing to the eye! As was mentioned above, the gorgeous textures add interest as well! Together, all of this unites to complete one beautiful shot Verena, nice job indeed! Sincerely, Marilyn

The light conditions seem almost surreal. The huge cloud approaches slowly threatening the whole area. Weren't you afraid to get soaked?
