Once in a while I can get a good shot at Mt Hood which is in the Cascade Mountain Range here in ORegon. It's a gorgeous mountain and is compared to the sister mountain of Mt Fuji. I took this shot last year and hope you enjoy it...thanx for stoppin in

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

I like this one much better than the other one of Mt Hood you posted, this one the trees don't block the view of the mountain so much as frame it nicely. Job well done!

Very nice and well done. I was going to try and get down there and get some shots but never made it. Got some shots from across the river but they were too hazy from the forest fires.

Very very nice Verena. The use of your double framing & all the black just points up the beauty of Mt. Hood even more. Well done !

This is just lovely Verena. It looks like something from a professional publication. Your framing is simple, dramatic and perfect for the picture. What a beautiful view this must be in real life!

Nice one, Verena. I seem to recall that they compared Mt. St. Helens to Mt. Fuji as well back before St.Helens blew her top.

An elegant view of Mt.Hood. The trees in the foreground are lovely as they point towards the mountain. Excellent clearness and composing. I like the dark turquoise/aqua colors on the Mt. The snow is smooth as icing. And the double frame and color compliment this gorgeous scene. Your work is very artistic Verena, and I'm glad you share it :^*>
