The peacefulness of this countryside fogginess was just wonderful. I decided to use the Sepia because it just seemed to give it even more of that feeling.I also decided not to use any kind of framing..and just allow the whole scene to fill the picture.. Please let me know your thoughts.Thank you for looking.

This is just marvelous. The muted color is perfect and your composition with the lacy filigree of the large tree against the lighter background is excellent as well. This image epitomizes the lonely drizzly fall days in Oregon. It is going into my favorites immediately.

What a pleasure to the eyes this is Verena. The large tree to the left anchors this perfectly and I also like how you can see beyond the fog of the treetops. Very pretty!

Wonderfully atmospheric image, Verena, with an eerie quality that really makes this very eye-catching. And here was I, thinking Oregon is perpetually blessed with big puffy clouds and wall-to-wall sunshine!

Imagine you are there
I didn't realize Sepia was in Oregon. For some reason I thought it was farther down the coast. I really like this because it reminds me of deer season and the days look just like this. I'll be able to take a photo in color and it will come out looking identical. You really did good here, Verena.

I wanted to browse the New Images ... tried sorting them by C-Index. This was number 1. Frankly, looking at the thumbnail I wondered what was so special that placed it that high. Came here and viewed this full screen. To make a long winded story short ... the image is right where it belongs ... Beautifully done Verena, wonderful photography.
