Today was another cold day, but the snow had stopped. I went for a drive up the foothills of the mountain range where I live. I noticed the clouds(fog) were laying heavily all over the Evergreens, so drove up a ways til I got a good shot of that fog...and I thought you all would like this view.There were dabs of snow left over. And some farms etc. Anyone got a sled?!!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round?? Picture Purrrfect .

Really good capture of this foggy view. I admire people that can make this sort of shot work. The farm in the foreground gives it a holiday postcard feel..nicely done.

Very nice Verena. I agree with Jan, it looks like smoke. With all the fires in California, I imagine thats a pretty scary thought up the coast. I too like the tranquil scene in foreground clashing with the mystery of the mountains. Good photo.

Great capture. Have you considered rendering this in B&W? I think significant strength to stand without color. I'd concentrate on bringing out the foreground texture.
