These are the foothills to the Coastal Range Mountains, which is where I live. We had the beginnings of a great snowfall, and this photo I took showed the snowclouds and some of the snow real well, altho the Evergreens in the foreground had not received the snow as yet. It was such a beautifully crisp day! Thanx for viewing..Just a note...I have a program to get rid of the noise, and the noise you all see is mostly the way the fog here in my area looks.

That's a powerfully evocative and romantic image. Great capture! Surely something mythical was happening in that forest at that moment. :)

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Personally, I'm allergic to that freezy skid stuff. Can't say I mind seeing if from 1500 miles away. Great perspective.
