Patterns and textures at the seashore are always such fun...but also the Gull at the right seems
to be lookin' for his other leg!!! Ohhh no!!!Thanx again for having a bit of fun with me.
You are a very clever Lady! The framing and balance are exquisite, quite beautiful. A smashing desktop too with that low light mood giving a moment of stillness set between the reaching waves. 10/10 I think.
I too like, very much, the division in the picture between the left and right sides. A study in textures in blue. The brown base brings it all together.

Great work Verena. I like the way the waves seem to for radiating lines originating from the top right corner and going out in all directions. It contrasts beautifully with the smooth of the sand (or ice?) at right. I also notice the way you built your diagonal wandering from top right to bottom left.
Very eye pleasing and applying what little I know about photography, it looks technically sound. Excellent Verena. Would look good on anyone's desktop.
Wonderful composition. I love the patterns and shading. Seagulls probably need to file for hazardous duty pay. There are a lot of one-leggers out there.
You got this shot at just the right time. That is so funny with the gull looking down like that, wondering where the other leg has gone. It reminds me of this one. Please Click Here. Very nice, Verena.
