I went to the local golf course, and it's where there are a ton of pretty Birch trees, so I liked the look of the tiny buds coming out and the little pathway...with that bloo sky..hope you enjoy it as well..thanx for lookin'
What a fantastic Sky... you found a new supplier, Verena? :))
The sheer graphic quality is very beguiling to a graphic's man like me and the silver bark was made for this light too. If that road had been yellow and made of bricks I wouldn't have been surprised at all. Great. Tommy.
:-) @ tommy, definatly needs yellow brick road, but i agree what a lovely shot, the silver birches look so nice against that sky, pretty golf course too.
I have always wondered if you could walk a golf course if you were not playing and paying that day! I do not think I have ever been on gold course that wasn't beautiful and a great photo op. I just never had a camera with me. Your picture is wonderful with that sky, those trees (I like all birches - especially around rivers and lakes), and the green course. Great colors. We have been white and black for what seems "forever" here.
No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
COME ON YOU GREENS, UP THE ARGYLE.....
That's a really pretty scene. The golf course looks in playing condition already. I love your comp and the colors. The sky is beautiful, also. I even see mountains in the distance. Nice work.
Doesn't get any better than this Verena. Beautiful sky, gorgeous white birch, green grass, winding road and of "course" a GOLF COURSE. Faved it right away. Be glad when I'm chasing white ball around one of these places.
"Where there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see." ~Dorothea Lange
I luv the birch trees, I had 3 in my front yard but they all got whiped out by a bug infestation we had here in Il. Almost all the birch trees in the state were whiped out. Very nice indeed Verena.
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
A perceptive shot of some beautiful trees, in an excellent composition. The shot does look just a little underexposed to me - I wonder if you had tried tweaking the lighting and contrast?
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
