And here is my first close-up flower photo using my new Canon Rebel xt. I seem to love yellow lately. Guess it's because we haven't seen much of the sun here in ORegon lately. Please enjoy.

Yeah, what's with this weather? Global warming is bringing rain/snow clouds to us and it is March already. This is when you wish you could control the variability of our sun an turn the thermostat up a notch...but it has its cycle and we just have to accept it.
Enough griping at the weather. It's that beautiful lily that we should be drooling over. I have to admit you and that XT are already in harmony. Must have taken all of 15 seconds. Another stunning beauty, Verena.

A definite wow image. You appear to have a slight motion blur though. For shots like this, try using a tripod. Overall a very good image.
