Here is a large golf course that I thought might look nice in B&W. I really liked the rolling hills and the little road there and also of course, the cloudy sky. Please comment, and thank you so much for taking a looksee.
I was taught B&W many years ago when it involved chemicals in a dark room and etc etc. My tutor then said of the photographic processes: 'The eye may bathe in colour but in in Black & White, it swims!' This is beng able demonstrated by your recent works Verena and I love them very much. Thank You. Tommy
Click here to see WHITBY through the lens of Frank Meadow Sutcliffe! PS I have no commercial link but Sutcliffe's photographs are historical! and any photographer worth his salt should at least know the history of their subject. He is one of the reasons I consider myself lacking, by the way. TG
Bobby Jones is not on that golf course. He's in the cemetery next to it. I loved what TG said about b/w with the bathing versus swimming. That being said, I'm a golfer who's dying to play golf. I would really enjoy seeing this in color. The landscape is so crisp looking. I can always imagine the green, blues and reds. Good photo Verena.

A beautiful shot Verena. The B&W adds a whole new dimension to the scene. It's often said that radio is better than television because the pictures are better. Well the same can be said of B&W, the colours are better!
