Well, I have so many more photos of my last beach trip to the Pacific, that I thought I'd share a few more with you all. I hope you won't get bored with them. But this scene is of the Haystack Rocks at Cannon Beach from a distant viewpoint. A viewpoint spot I just discovered and had not been to before . I loved the drama of those clouds so much! And yes, it rained after that, but it was warm. There is nothing quite so passionate as when this kind of sky rises above the sea.It's what is known as a "Close Encounters Sky"...enjoy please!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round?? Picture Purrrfect .
I definitely won't get bored if they're all as wonderfully dramatic as this, great capture Verena, it stirs the soul.

I am a sucker for skies like that. Absolutely beautiful. The way the sky looks, I am wondering if a huge spaceship will appear, like in the movie. I'll sit and watch for awhile. ...nice, Miss V.

Good shot Verena and I love the sky as well. Is the the first, second or 3rd close encounter? I like how the shoreline is used in the shot. Excellent post.
