Oh! she loves to read. She is 7 yrs old and has been reading since she was 4. This is my youngest grandchild..reading in a sunny window to her
little dolly. Just thought it looked sweet, she didn't even notice I took the picture.

You are neither taxed nor fined if you look at My Gallery.
This is a wonderful picture, Verena. The lighting is great, as well as the colors, and the way she is just going about her activity without even knowing you were there.
Beautiful capture Miss V. I've seen that look in her eyes before. I have a 6 and a 4yr old, and that's the look of imagination from reading. She looks so lost in that book, that I bet her mind is a million miles away. Very nice job.

A beautiful study. The book has created lovely highlights on her face and that of the doll as well. You did very well to capture this gentle moment. Kudos.
Mark's rework brought me here to see this wonderful window shot with the sunlight creating really nice contrasts around this lovely child doing what children do best, imagining and wondering. A very lovely spontaneous and inspired image, Verena.
What a special and winsome portrait, Verena... She seems to be lingering in two worlds, that of babyhood and that of the mysterious grown-up world... Just lovely, and faved.

Reminds me of me as a girl, how lost they can get from this world when there's a whole other world in their head. Great composition, candid captures are sometimes the only way to really get that sincerity, and you did it wonderfully.
Verena, such a tender capture of your lovely Grandchild. The sunlight is just right for her reading. I like the concentration on her face and the way she's holding her dolly tight. Reading is such a wonderful gift and it's a delight to see a child enjoying it. Thanks Verena!
She looks like either an attentive mommy or a children's librarian in the making. I'm going to send it to my wife who is both of those. She'll love it.
