I can't imagine why, but I'm feelin' a might tipsy lookin' at this picture. LOL. Now that's what I call a handsome lookin' barn. Yes siree, the owner must be real proud to show that barn off to any one that comes a callin'. Why, I wouldn't be surprised if that ain't on the cover of the Farmers Almanac someday. It's a beauty for shore. LOL..Nice shot, Verena. I love that sky.
I like pictures of old buildings, this is a good one. Like a lot of old buildings it doesn't look too stable, but then it has weathered years and years and still stood the test of time pretty well. Nice shot.
As Owd Fellow Tick is the only one who can talk with barns, was curious whether the barn has told him its story. It's a pity that he didn't say anything about it in his comment, lol.
Thanks for this very fine capture Verena.
Regards, Cornelius.

This is really a cool looking old barn, sure bet it could tell you some great stories. Love the texture of the barn and is a great contrast to the beautiful sky.

As you know old buildings are one of my favorite subjects and I must say I like everything about this image. I especially like the perspective you have chosen to use as it adds power to the image. The only thing I would have done differently would have been to crop out the yellow newspaper box. The color is so different from the rest of the image that it draws your eye right to it first and that isn't your subject. Try cropping it out and see the difference it makes.
Even so this is a job well done Verena.
