These old barns and the silos were just so amazing to find. I was in an area I had not seen before quite a few miles from where I live. But it was worth it to find these. See the weather vane on top of the barn on the left? Love that little cow! so cute. . The fog was still lurking around, please comment if you'd like to.

I really like this one! Exudes a mood. Wonderful composition. The grey skies, fog and colors of the barn and vegetation compliment the mood. NICE!

What a good picture, the fog in the background makes it even better! :) I like the way the hills set the background as well, make the main part of the picture stand out more! Good job :)

I love this photo. Old buildings alway draw my attention. They really stand out in this photo, maybe because of the haze in the background. Doesn't look like it has been used in a long time. Are there two barns there or is one a corncrib? Wonderful capture.

Lovely country scene Verena. I'm enjoying the rustic weathered looking barn. The foggy / hazy background adds to the atmosphere of the scene. Very well done.

Reminds me of home a little bit. Except these barns would look like this and STILL be in use. Very moody, soft capture. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Another fabulous job Verena. Again I love the fog in the background. Boy if those barns could talk what stories they would have. This is a very relaxing scene, love it.

I am glad some barns can't talk. Know what I mean? lol Great shot of the once thriving farm. Corporate farms have sent many of the family farm members packing. Too sad. Photo with the fog, reflects that.

Verena, this is absolutely gorgeous. I love the soft colors and the barn with the silos. The sky and the hills in the distance look great. You composed this shot perfectly, too. What a great scene. I love rural shots with barns, and you have come up with one that ranks way up there. I love it.

The old derelict barn and silos blend so well into the landscape they look as if they are slowly returning to the earth, almost melting into it... in time they will be gone...
