I did this manipulation in Paint Shop from a photo I took of a red and orange Dahlia, then I added special effects in Paint Shop. But I also wanted to share with you my first attempt of writing a HAIKU, a form of Japanese poetry. There is always a nature theme, and strong words to describe by using 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second, and 5 in the third. I hope you enjoy this combination of my photo//manipulation//poetry. Thank you ever so much for taking a look. Please comment.

Well, Verena, I am no officianado in the art world, but maybe you are the first to combine the two. I don't really know. You sure have a great looking Desk Top here, and I like the little piece of poetry, too. Even without the image, you can visualize something similar in the words of the poem. You are quite an artist. Very well done, and my highest compliments go out to you.
