Here is another photo of the stairway at Bannack, Mt. the ghost town. This is the bottom of the stairway of the Hotel Meade. It was built in 1856. I took this photo with my Canon AE1, SLR also. This little place is so magical. It's part of the National Parks in Montana. They did bigtime gold panning there. I scanned this photo, so it's not going to be as sharp as my digital, but I hope you enjoy this anyway.

Wonderful capture. The light coming in from the window and door and the B&W create a very mysterious mood...never know what kind of things we will encounter here...
Sorry my mind is going of track probably seen to many movies.

This is really a beautiful shot Lady V. My mind wants to tell me the story of this setting in full color. In a day when this house saw lots of life, very beautiful really. Indeed a nice shot.

The slats and plastering really date this one X. Nice timeless shot. Looks great in B/W.

The slight blur gives it a wonderful 'ghostly' atmosphere, almost like it wants to 'go back' to the heyday of 19th century gold days... I hear an upright piano tinkling somewhere, and I see shadows of the past descending the stairs...

I like the B & W presentation. The lighting gives the scene an eerie or ghostly feel to it, but then it is a ghost town. Makes me wonder what lies beyond the staircase. Excellent work Verena.

I love this image Miss V. The fact that it is grainy from the scan, really adds depth and an old time feel to the setting. Wonderful work.

I have enjoyed this work, as I really like old buildings, inside and out. Nice lighting, and composition. Usually best in B & W for old things. Nice shot.
