This is a photo I took again of the Hotel Meade, in Bannack, Mt, the ghost town. This time its the open door of the Hotel looking up the same stairway photo I posted earlier. This Hotel was built in 1856 and still stands! This place is pretty beaten up, but I shot the photo in b&w as it added to the character of the place. Please feel free to comment.

Another great shot with good details and composition! I like it that they let buildings stand for so long in your country... overhere they would have demolished it a long long time ago.

I ain't going up those steps. I would make too much noise with my knees a knockin'. Nice shot, V.

Wonderful mysterious, a little creepy and totally interesting place. Love the composition and the b/w really enhances it.

Does have a ghostly feel and I still think Norman's mother is at the top of the stairs. Or is it Norman himself? Hmmmmm

Good post X and b/w is perfect for this.

Nice take on this. It does look spooky but you have a way of making it seem cheerful in it's on way.

Great shot again, especially in B & W. I'm saving your series on this place ... where I'd like to be myself, with my camera, of course. Lucky you!. Glad you got to visit there with your camera.

I can see a lady (what kind of lady I leave up to imagination) descending the stairs wearing a flowing dress of dark blue, her hair parted neatly in the middle and swept up inside a hat with two yellow feathers in it... She looks pensive, as if listening to some distant music...

I think I would just peek in and not try to go up those stairs. I like your black and white take on this though.
