Not much to say about this photo, other than the obvious. This is a very well used and worn wagon wheel, think of the things it must have helped to carry in the wagon it pulled. Gold? That would be nice! I imagine there were many uses.I love all the textures here. I left the colour on purpose to give the feel of the grasses, dried and the fresh too. I will post a couple more times and then I'll end this series. I've really enjoyed sharing these photos of this little ghost town with all of you. Thank you so much for looking.

This is really a cool capture Verena of this old wagon wheel. Yes the wheel sure has a lot of history behind it, it could even have brought pioneers out west to pan for that gold. Great job my friend.

Verena, I liked the presentation of this and the interpretation as well.

Nice shot again Lady V! I have just such an old wagon wheel leaning against our fence with a nice bright pink rose planted in front of it.

A well composed wagon wheel image Verena. Nice colours and framework. A bit of carpenters glue, a few nails, you'll be back on the road in no time.

That's a real ghost town... the wagon wheel looks like a skeleton in the grass. ;-)

Great take and colors...I love these type of images and you have done a great job of showing its true passion of being over used. Great job.

This has been a great series. Each one was better than the last. I'm glad you left the colors as you saw them. Terrific.

Thanx for the series, Verena. This one kinda makes U wonder why they didn't use this wheel to leave this place.

That wheel has certainly seen a lot of action in the old days... it seems to be returning to the earth where it started so long ago.
