I went to the Pacific Ocean twice these past days. One of the days the weather was a typical Oregon Day...gray skies, wind, fog and rain. But it is still so beautiful. Just looke at the surf! You can tell the wind was really pushing those waves! I took this photo on one of my fav. spots up on Neakhanie Mountain looking down at Manzanita Beach and South on Hiway101. I know you'll enjoy the view as I did! Thanx for lookin'

Could sit there for hours to enjoy this wonderful sight Verena, but think wind, fog and rain would prevent me from doing so. Therefore your post is a very good alternatieve.
Thanks for sharing.

Not even grey skies and fog can hide the majestic force of this view. Love this perspective. Can only imagine the changes witnessed there. Wonderful! Love when you go to the coast.

Beautiful country and seaside. Love the low clouds.sets a sense of moodiness. Little noise in the clouds, but all is forgiven on the beautiful place.

Very nice. I agree with U Verena, that this image was taken on a somewhat typical day (Not Always) of clouds and fog for the Pacific Northwest coast. Looks like gale warnings were up on this day. I think this image really captures the mood.

You have such a wonderful vantage point Verena. It gives you such fantastic views and you take great advantage of them. I really like this image in the mist of miles of breaking waves.

Beautiful Oregon view, Ms. V! I think the clouds, the fog and the rain just add to its depth.

Sorry for the delay, been in Las Vegas but I'm back now. Have so many to look at so don't know if I'll be able to catch up. May not comment on all of them.
