While at the beach last weekend, there was a bit of wind one day and it made wonderful sand sculptures. Here is one I thought might fit into the Shadows contest.
A stunning black and white, Verena. You got perfect light and shadows, and the textures are great. I love the blurred water. What a great find and what a great eye for a shot. Very well done.
Isn't it amazing what kind of scavenger hunt nature gives us to participate in every day? As though it's saying "I've made millions of beautiful things for you to see; all you need do is find them." Well you certainly found one, Verena.
OH! This is quite a picture. You can tell the water and wind have created this for you, just hoping you'd come by and do your thing. I really like the black and white technique you used here. Great work.
I love these kinds of shots. The shadow / light play on the sand caught my eye as well as the textures. Perfect in B & W also. Magnificent work Verena ... a keeper for sure.
Ooh...I love images like this, Verena, makes me wish I lived closer to the beach! I'm really enjoying the curve in the sand that's accented by the shadows and lighting, and how the grains of sand sparkle in the sunlight! I also like the ocean that's blurred in the background, and the little twigs and debris in the foreground. Excellent choice in b&w, as well as a candidate for the current challenge! Saved to my DT. Thanks for sharing, my friend :)
