As I was driving thru the clover fields, I found this pretty pathway with lots of gorgeous Rhododendrons. The countryside around here is just gorgeous this time of year. And now the Roses are going to begin, Portland is the City of Roses, so get ready for some beauties! I'd love to hear a bit of critique if you'd like to give some. Thx

Looks like a great place for a walk. Positioning yourself so that fence is silhouetted allows the photo to go beyond what we see, to go into our imaginations. It makes us wonder what more beauty lies over the rise. It reminds me of stills from the "Wizard of Oz" and "Gone With the Wind."

Gorgeous image Verena, the colours are beautiful and the interplay of light and shadow is wonderful. I love that we can't see where the road is leading, a little bit of mystery in life is a good thing:)
