I fell in love with this scene when I happened to see it during a drive in the countryside. I will be posting this photo again, a bit different, I would like to get your opinion on it and another photo I will post tomorrow so I can enter a contest called "Give us Your Best Shot"..thanx so much for taking a look.

Can you paint with all the colors of the wind.
Gorgeous and magical... It looks like a place out of time where magic can come true... We can sit here and drink tea or coffee or wine and be healed by the trees around us. Drink in the air, it smells of apple cider and cinnamon...

I guess you have to watch for falling leaves that could land in your tea. LOL. This is beautiful, Verena. I am sorry it didn't make it into the contest. It would have placed high.

I look at hundreds of pictures everyday....I will say that this picture comes pretty close to being perfect....I have been in the position to judge many prints/slides through the years...believe me the judging sometimes gets ridiculous...but this picture is pretty close to being flawless...thank you!!!

A beautiful display of autumn colours, Verena! I only wish I had such a fine place to dine, in all of it's grand colours and openness! I thought this looked familiar... me thinks I like this , a tad more. Wonderful work on both though, and either one you choose should do well in a contest.

The sky is "washed out". Therefore, I would do some creative cropping to see how much of it I could get rid of. I would crop off the left 1/4 almost up to the tree trunk then crop off as much as possible all the way across the top to get rid of that sky and I would crop off a little on the right side too. Then, I would clone out some of the larger remaining patches of sky. Matter of fact I should try this before sounding off................well I did all of that in photo shop and I think it worked wonderfully. Hope you posted your e-mail address. I'll send it to you.
