This photo was taken in a historical area of Portland, but this particular old home, had this lovely addition on it! A veranda or enclosed balcony of sorts, and this home was built way high on a cliff overlooking Portland, but you can see right thru their place. I really liked the feeling of this. And those soft shadows felt good to me...

Good work. I like the lighting on this. Now I can see the same through the Windows. I mean the operating system. LOL. :)

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

Lovely place. I like this type of American Architecture.
There's a total different concept of house building comparing to Europe.
Thanks for sharing.

I can see why this caught your eye, Verena! The soft shadows are indeed lovely. What a fantastic view of the City the homeowner must have, and beautiful lighting streaming from all those windows. The tall grasses outside the window is also very nice. Excellent post! Thanks so much for sharing it with us :)
