I was in the process of taking yet another photo of the beautiful red hedges, and I saw something 'move' and lo and behold! I Hawk suddenly landed on top of the light pole! As you can see it's an industrial pole, and so I left the electrical lines also. Sometimes making changes for the sake of "perfection" isn't always the best idea.I was thrilled about the Hawk tho. He began to fly away seconds later too!

What gorgeous colors again, and I love that sky. The hawk is a great addition to the shot, too, Miss V. Very nice.

Nice Verena. I love these royal birds and we have plenty around here as well:)Along highway 4 in Martinez,Ca. there are always a male and a female hanging around on the street lights. Cool picture. :)
