I went up on what it called "Skyline Drive" today, and the views there are always so great. This overlooks the valley that I live in.It's called the Willamette Valley. It's actually where all the pioneers wanted to get to back in the Gold Rush and when Lewis and Clark were heading this way. It's a beautiful are, but unfortunately there are many housing developments all over the place now. But there are still tons of Evergreens and beautiful Roses and many historical sights to see. THere was a bit of fog over the distand Coastal Mountain Range, which made for a soft touch. Please enjoy and feel free to comment.

It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.

I sure would like to see that in person. There is nothing like looking out over the gorgeous countryside backed by mountains. Beautiful shot, Verena.

Gorgeous shot Verena, i love the way the mist hangs over the valley. I am envious of your autumn colours!!! Things in England are very grey right now!
