Once again, this is the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge, as viewed from Oregon. I, again, just fell in love with the heavy clouds laying on the mountains. I know I left in the power lines etc, but after all, it IS part of the scenery...thank you so much for looking.

Oh very nice. The clouds look almost like they are just setting on the mountains. Once again your photagraphic eye serves you well Verena.

The clouds really do this shot up right, but then again the mountains are special also. Nice post.

If you ever decide you want power lines and such out of your shots, just call Cuzin Jasper..."expert power line disassembly and general scene clean up." Just make sure you have plenty of Bud Light to keep him busy. LOL. Another very nice shot, Verena. I think I am going to have to go visit the mountains soon...probably in Colorado, where one of my brothers lives.

Oh how beautiful Verena! Those dark clouds look like they are lightly laying on the mountain peaks! I wouldn't have even seen the power lines they sort of blend in

A beautiful mountain scene Verena. I looks like that cloud's resting on that mountain top. The only way I can get an image like this in Florida is by blowing smoke over an ant bed while taking a macro shot. Excellent capture, Saved.
