It snowed more during the night, but I took this shot around midnight, and I'm surprised it turned out. No flash was used, just the lamplights glow. I like how the colour does and how warm it makes the cold feel!! I find it interesting how these night photos take on the sort of orange look. The snow began to melt today, and so now all we have is lots of slush. But even that is ok, it smells all Wintery and crisp out there. For all of you in the Southern Hemisphere..just enjoy! Maybe it'll help cool you all off a bit in the hot weather you're having! Thanx for taking a look.

This is a gorgeous night shot I'd say. It's so clear and kind of has a sepia color to it. Terrific!!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??
Even with the cold outside, the sepia tones are creating a warm atmosphere Verena. Very good night shot.

Great shot, Verena! I love snow shots but especially night shots. I wish it would snow here. My family just went to the Smoky Mountains for Christmas and I was hoping to see a lot more snow than we did. Oh well it was still good.
