It was a beautiful and silent day
white clouds drifted across the sky
breezes seemed held at the mercy
of the triumphant morning sun

Even the ocean silenced its roar
as seagulls slowly skimmed over waves
seeking their morning breakfast
at first amber light of day

A tiny coastal town awakens now
with aromas of fresh brewed coffee
laughter is heard here and there
as beachwalkers watch the dawn arive

Gleaming fishingboats dot the horizon
amidst chameleon colors of the day
as early morning hours delight my
senses of sight, sound and salty taste.

The sea and sky merge as one
in blues of indigo, azure and sapphire
while waves lap onto caramel colored sand
tumbled with pearly white seashells

Softly the tide washes ashore gifts
tiny pebbles with colors of our earth
waters splashing gently over footprints
on pathways of the crescent sea

As a mans passion is for a women
so are passions brought from the ocean
caressing with faintest blue waters
touching as softly as butterfly wings
