This is commonly known as the Tulip Tree.But, after doing some research on them, they are officially known as Magnlia trees. When I lived in the South, the Magnolias were only in white. Here in Oregon evidently they come in these pinks and magentas too. These blooms were just beginning to open. I think it is one of the most beautiful flowering trees. The blooms don't last long, but sure do make a splash!! Enjoy please!

You have just the right amount of lighting in this shot to make it very pleasing to the eyes. The DOF is outstanding and the colors perfect. Well done Lady V.

Beautiful, Verena, we call these Japanese Magnolias. Don't know if that is correct but they are pretty.
