I drove to the Ocean today. I needed the salty air and the sound of the sea. It was just one of those time I needed for me. A lot of stresses lately, and the water always feels so good to watch. Too cold to get into yet tho. This is the Lanai, as they call it, near the town of Seaside, Oregon. Thats what you see across the way. It was a bit of a cloudy but nice day.The giant round rock was recently washed up on the shore. It's so amazing what the sea does to stones and how round and smooth they get with the turbulance of the waters running over it. It was high tide and there were a few surfers out too. Will try to post that later. Thanx for much for taking a look.

You can feel the waves, the cold air, and the serenity thus produced. The rocky beach, like life, been smoothed by the continuous carasses of the sea.

It must be nice to go to the ocean when the whim strikes you Verena. Knowing you can should help relieve your stress. A good shot of a wonderful scene.

Somehow, going to the lake just isn't the same as going to the ocean. Tick is right...you are lucky to be so close. Great cloudy sky, wavy sea shot. It looks like some demolition company left their wrecking ball on the shore. LOL.

A lovely capture of the beach scene Verena. Love the waves and depth in your shot. That rock must have be heavy because it caused that end of the beach to sink down. :)

Beautiful, Verena! I know exactly what you mean about stresses lately and you found a great place to go here. Oh and if I would have seen this image first I wouldn't have asked the question about if you were on a surfboard on the other one. Although, I don't think I would put anything past you to get a good shot.
