Best to see this full screen. The surfer is hard to see, but he was trying to catch that wave, he did it, but fell pretty quick. I liked the sight tho. Just watching him and the waves was so relaxing, at least for me!! The sky was dark and so the Ocean was too.It was a good day for me. Relaxing, wonderful just to be alone with the Sea. Thanx for looking.

The surfer appears like a silhouette in the center of that wave. It is not so much that he fell, as it is that he tried. You captured a metaphor.

Beautiful, Verena! It reminds me of the times I've been out at the beach early in the morning watching a lone surfer. It's so peaceful and refreshing. Great job capturing this.
