I have never seen Tulips that are almost black. And here they were next to those soft pink ones. What a treat! Talk about a special colour. Please give me your thoughts on the Tulips and the posting. Thanx so much for stopping in.

A fabulous original combination of these beautiful flowers, Verena. The frame complements them superbly.
Black tulips used to be extrememly rare: literally, worth more than their own weight in gold. "The Black Tulip" (La Tulipe Noire) is, of course, a famous novel by Alexandre Dumas.
