I just kinda liked these trees. They are way up in the hills over the Willamette Valley where I live. In the distance you can see a little of it. Enjoy and feel free to comment.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

Great photograph Verena. While the dark foreground has almost a monochrome colour, the lightened background is filled with subtle tones.
Not that usual in photography, but very beautiful.

I like the silhouette look about this photography meaning the dark at the front then the lovely colours in the background.Plus the cropping make this a beautiful shot.I get the feeling that i am at the top of a hill looking down wards.

Great photo Verena. It seems like in 3D with multiple photos making into one great photograph. First layer of pine trees and their shadows are very relaxing. Next green layer of meadow, mushroom shaped plant, some bushes and single pine tree. Colorful layer of trees and far trees. Fantastic.

Very cool looking pine trees cast in a little bit a=of shadow! I also like the background and how lit up it is! And its not raining which is strange for the Willamette Valley!!
