This my entry to the current "Doors" contest. It's, after all, a door also. This is an oven in the ghost town of Bannack, Mt. It's inside the Hotel Meade, which still stands. Hundreds of loaves of bread and other things were baked in this huge oven. I thought the oven doors were so unique. I've posted this photo long ago, but I've formated it totally different, so I hope it's acceptable for the contest. Thank you all for any comments my friends.

Fine shot here Lady V. I have actually had the very hot opportunity to cook on one of those. It was fun but really made me wonder how folks could cook on those on a hot day and not pass out.

This reminds me of my childhood when we used to go to my Grandpa's on Sundays and my Mom would cook on his old wood fire cook stove. A very creative entry for the contest! Good luck!

You have been using that great imagination again, Verena. I never would have thought of using this for the contest. What an excellent entry. Let me know when the pizza is ready. LOL. Good luck.

Nice composition, Verena. My grandmom had had an oven like this, but a smaller one. Good luck my friend.

You are right, as it is for sure a door, nicely done of course ... just like the bread which came from it. Good luck in the contest.
