I took this photo inside one of the old houses in the ghost town of Bannack, Mt. Notice the cobwebs, dirty window, and the old screen. This is a look into the tiny town with a couple of dilapidated houses. The grasses and trees here don't get green anymore. The sun beats down most of the years other then when the weather is icy cold with snow. This is also a scanned image, so please give me a bit of critique as I am trying to learn how to use my newest scanner.

I feel like I'm looking through a window at a previous time in history. It never gets green?... Really? I especially like the angle at which you took this, and this is just the thing I see in my minds eye when I think of a ghost town! Very well done, Verena! And, your new scanner looks to be working fine :)

Until I read the narrative, I wouldn't have guessed this was scanned, Verena. Very eerie effect you've achieved here.

What a great a creative view point. You can't even tell it was scanned until you said something.

Have you been back? I am so happy to see this town again! You found facinating things everywhere you turned in here. And you always seem to be able to wander alone, no tourists herded in in overcrowded busses. What a way to spend a couple of days. Its a beauty of an old shot
