My little guy kept me home today so I took an opportunity to jump outside. Let me know what you think - good, bad or indifferent.

My visits will be infrequent this fall but my friends here at Caededs will not be far from my thoughts. Carrie

An oppourtunist? More like mastermind. This is a delicious picture. Detailed, excellent aperature usage to accenuate the delicateness of the flower, supremely satisfying to the viewer. A complete package of good work for others to aspire to. I can think of no flaws here.

Get well soon Viking_Boy Junior!!! Warmest wishes to you Rob, Iain.

I have to concur with the above commenters and share in their appreciation for the sheer elegance and beauty you've captured here. I, of course, can't find any fault with it and I believe that the coloring on these flowers is rare and a shade of pink that I've not seen before. I'm finding myself staring at the matching pink stems upon which these perfect trumpets are situated and I'm looking forward to having this gracing my desktop. Speaking of which, and I think I'm preaching to myself here as well, one of my Caedes friends happened to mention to me that when he gets a lovely capture like this with the activity going on on the left-hand side, the first thing he does is flip the picture so that he doesn't have to move all his icons over to the right, as they most naturally occur on the left. I've been thinking about that for a while, and it must be because we read from left to right that our eye most naturally places the most intriguing parts of most pics on the left. Just a thought..thanks for posting this. :)PJ
