I'm not really a fan of the train tracks or roads perspective shots, but it was foggy this one particular morning so I thought I would give it a try since I figured the fog would give an extra element.
What a great title to fit this photo. Or it could be out of the unknown, what is going to come out of that fog? a ghost train? Very eerie looking, great work.
Even though this is a misty and as such a mysterious pic, I like it for the aspects you've stated you didn't post it for :) I am a fan of perspective and tracks, and I also can appreciate the colors..rusty red to grayish gravel out past the brown groundwork to the heavy greens reposing in the trees. As I let my eye be drawn down the track, and because of the reason you DID post this composition, it's funny how your eye plays tricks and for a while you can follow the shining tracks, then you lose them, then once again they become apparant. It underscores the heavy fog you captured so well that is spread over all of this upload. :)PJ
I'm glad you gave this a try, Rob. It is a fabulous perspective shot and the fog is a wonderful bonus. This is truly an amazing capture. Straight to fav and 10. Kudos my friend.
Well, I am a fan of train track photos, therefore I appreciate your wider perspective to go out on a limb and try something you wouldn't normally attempt. I like it a lot! Fogginess always adds to a shot for me. Just that extra something that makes it mysterious! Nice job.
