Got this back in the warm part of the winter. (December was ridiculously warm this season) I'm playing with the border here, and would like comments as to whether the border should stay or go.

In answer to your question, Rob, I would say keep the border, but lighten it up to a little more yellow to match the color of the gold finch's face. It's a little too pea-soup green for my taste and my monitor :( Other than that it's very pretty colorwise.

I had to make this finch my background and I even like the pea-green border. Isn't it nice we are all so different?

Nice image. I like the way you have it floating above the border. The color seems entirely appropriate to me.

i like the idea of adding a border, but your colors clash. all of the colors in your photo have a red tone. your frame is green. not even a good contrasting color for this photo.

Lovely shot, its really nicely done, i like the idea of a border too, but im not so sure i like that colour for it! its no good asking me what colour i would have, because as you probably noticed 99.9% of mine are black, because i can never get any other colour to look right (for my eyes anyway)! I like the shadow effect round the picture too!
