More sizes, download for mobile phone, send e-card, play puzzle, buy poster, etc: http://www.vladstudio.com/wallpaper/?sun_eclipse Thanks!

Vladimir -- The rays you've created coming out of the sun are clearly familiar, but the other lines you have here, circling the sun in an elliptical pattern, faintly resemble the sun's magnetic fields. Since these fields shift their direction every 11 years, due to change again in 2012, they range from very deep curves to very shallow ones like the ones we see here. Is that, in fact, what you are portraying? For a digital image, this piece of yours is exquisitely crafted. Being an amateur "backyard astronomer," it is near and dear to my heart (as evidenced by my personal avatar attached to this comment). To see a beautiful parallel to your image, go to http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap061016.html, to see an eclipse of Saturn, photographed by the robotic spacecraft, Cassini, on October 16, 2006, as the craft floated in the planet's shadow for 12 hours. The solar rays in the photo look very much like yours and they allowed NASA scientists to see more, fainter rings than they had anticipated, discovering new ones as well as ice geysers. In the photo, even our own planet Earth appears inside the rings. I hope you and anyone else visiting here takes the time to check it out. Thank you for another outstanding submission.
