Gosh, this is even more beautiful than your first posting...this is amazing!! I love how you got SOOOO close to the rocsk in the front and then had them fade. Did you get wet in this? I mean didnt you have to lay in the water to get this kind of a shot? but if so...it is sure worth it. Is it warm there? Where is this Island? The colours are magnificient! Great great shot..verena
Great angle, it was worth to go down on your knees. You picture has a great DOF, the colors and the contrast are perfectly balanced but what makes it soooo unique and very special is the viewing perspective. You have a good eye through the camera, this shot is really worth a 10/10, thumbs up !!!
I did get a little wet in this photo laying down on the rocks, but it was well worth it in attempts to capture the beauty of Mackinac Island which is located in northern MI, in the Straits of Mackinac that connect Lake Michigan with Lake Huron. Transportation on the island is limited to bicycle, rollerblading, horse & buggy, or foot (you take a ferry from either St.Ignace or Mackinac City to get to the island). My best friend and I took a road trip to the island this day in September...it was about 60-70 degrees...I am always blessed with beautiful weather everytime I go (never had a cloudy day visiting). I highly recommend visiting this favorite location of many!

Yes, it is a very nice composition!
I imagine you laying down there in the water, Iand wish I could have been there.
Thanks for giving us another daydream!

Another wonderful shot. You have a real eye for this. Also I like the out of fucus rocks in the foreground. Sometime shots like this have everything in focus and it can look unnatural. Only one suggestion - to tilt the photograph so that the horizon is straight.
"What other reason could there be to get up in the morning except to set ourselves free."
If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
I live in Michigan and have vacation property in northern Michigan, it's such a picture perfect place and you have captured some of it's charm in a GREAT picture. 10/10 Randy
Beatiful picture! I like the low angle very much. It is amazing that even with the angle so low you can still see into the water. The water must be really clear there.
