The shape of things to come! (In the midwest, anyway) I was out trying to catch a sunrise and caught this instead. My fingers were frozen, but it was worth it!
BRRR....you're giving me the chills, Hilda..are they really iced over? and is that snow or frost..looks like frost to me. The colors are still bright and they look as if they're trapped just for us to enjoy. I love the frame as well. It sets off the upload perfectly ..thanks :)PJ
The thin layer of ice is telling of the cold that's upon you Hilda. The fall colors are even more colorful from that thin layer and it's a beautiful presentation. Very well done and a keeper ;) Thanks for this one.
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
I really like this image, Hilda ... very well shot and presented! I grew up in Wis and remember those cold mornings all too well. Good job - now get some hot chocolate!! :)

Very cool! Good thing you were open to other things then the sunrise or we would never have seen this. I like everything about it. The contrast of seasons, the colors, the frame. Glad you were in the right place at the right time for this one! Looks like it's time for gloves!
What a great capture this is Hilda! I just love the simplicity of it and the foreboding as well (brrr - winter) The brightness of the leaves are a last shining ray of life amongst the deadness of the twigs. You've framed it and titled it perfectly!
Oh Hilda, lucky you to happen up on this shot. This is too too, cool literally. lol.
I love the coloring, the chilling ice capture and your framing is superb. On my DT and in my fav's.
Thank you for this one Hilda.
