I was trying to catch this scene and a blue jay happened into it. Sort of looks like the ghost of a blue bird. (This might work for Madmaven's spooky tales!) Actually, I didn't have the right settings to catch it, but I thought this was an interesting effect anyway.

Darn! Almost got him. No matter the tree is beautiful and makes up for the lack 'o bird :) Even though the colors have been sparse, some of them have really lit up like they should, and this one is a great example of it. Nice job ..cute name for the title :)PJ

It's all about perspective and perception.
So what if the blue bird is blurred, The other colors dominate this photo so well. But then again, whats wrong with a little ghostlyness at halloween time anyway. Beautiful capture.
