I wonder why they don't try to restore these beautiful sculptures, certainly worth the effort as far as I'm concerned.
Wonderful capture Hilda, love the waterdroplets too:)
Just reserving my spot...I can't see it, but I know approximately what it looks like...not sure what is happening with the site...AGAIN...You found a unique configuration. That I know, my friend.

{EDIT} 80 feet! Wow...what a beautiful sculpture this is and you've presented it so well..yes, I can finally see the pics again...thanks for the link. It was fun to explore!
After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.
This full shot with the water at the base of the shot is wonderful. Too bad about the damage, but you preserved it at this point. Very creative image, Hilda.
There is a small shot of this before damage on the botanical garden website at Sibley Water Mural if you are interested in seeing it. Look under Water features - Sibley Structure.

Very interesting shot. I love the light & shadow play, as well as the varying textures in the image. And the water falling on the right really gives the picture great motion without detracting from the beauty of the carvings. Thanks for sharing it!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
