Lighting the fairies' path over the lily pads! Taken at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. This is my first attempt at using the Orton technique I read about here on Caedes.

Thanks for the lights, Hilda...we fairies appreciate all the help we can get :) This is a wonderful first attempt and I can only imagine how good you're going to get at this. You're off to a grand start. Lovely and in my faves folder..just can't decide which one...

No Sig, Just, I want to say "Thank You" to all of the talented photographers for giving me the most beautiful desktops I could ever imagine. The artistry here is breathtaking.
The Orton technique has worked very well with this one. You’ve managed to give it a beautiful glow, which I find very pleasing. Love the composition in this too. Now I’m off to find that tutorial.
