We were canoing on a cloudy day and I liked the clouds and patch of blue reflected in the water. Taken while we were on vacation - I don't usually get to see scenes like this so I loved it!
Which is the sky and which is the water? lol Just beautiful, Hilda. I'm sure this scene left you with a very peaceful and serene feeling. Those clouds look so soft that you'd want to fall right into them.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Lifes around said Phil the 35 millimetre cameraman. I recently went to the doctors, and said I've got icon fever. But he told me there was no cure for the disease, and try to think of it more as a gift, and less of a handicap.
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. :-)................ MY GALLERY - THE LION****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOMEPAGE
THE CAMERA'S ONLY JOB is to get out of the way of making photographs. It's entirely an artist's eye, patience, and skill that makes an image. ~Ken Rockwell VISIT MY GALLERY
I agree with philflossman, a rowboat would be a place I'd love to be in in this scene, and it almost seems as if we are...perhaps it's because of the lack of framing around the foreground, but whatever caused it..the effect is very stimulating and perhaps that's why I enjoyed it so much from the very first time I saw it, my friend. You have an amazing eye :)
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
I absolutely love the angle on this shot...if you hadn't said you were in a canoe, I would have thought you were swimming!! The water has a glass-like quality and it makes it seem like the land is ages away...very nice job!!
